Is Tulum LGBTQ+ Friendly?

Short answer yes. Tulum is very LGBTQ+ friendly.

Here comes the long answer for anyone wanting more details.

Tulum is incredibly gay and becoming more and more queer everyday. Parties/events/and just general exisiting is very LGBTQ+ friendly. I (a Mexican nonbinary human) have lived publically out for over 5 years here in the town and have found it to be super accepting. I feel safe on the street and on the beach. People generally mind their own business and since there are people from all over the world there is exposure to all kinds of humans so tolerance to anything "different" is higher than in most places.

Obviously each person knows themselves best and we encourage everyone to make choices that make them feel safe.
